    Kaze-no-Sampomichi St.

    This walking path runs along the south side of the Tamagawa Josui Channel from Mitaka Station toward Inokashira Park. It is lined with abundant greenery and seasonal flowers.

    Mitaka City Yuzo Yamamoto Memorial Museum

    This is the Western-style house where the novelist Yamamoto Yuzo lived from 1936 to about 1946, and where he wrote masterpieces such as Robo no Ishi (A Stone by the Roadside).

The Kichijoji Art Museum is on the 7th floor of Coppice Kichijoji Building A, but the entrance with the sign for the museum has a step. Take the main entrance into Coppice Kichijoji.

    Kichijoji Art Museum

    This museum houses and displays about 2,500 oil paintings, woodblock prints, photographs, and other works, including traditional Japanese-style paintings by painter and print artist Noda Kyuho. In addition to its permanent galleries devoted to renowned printmakers Hamaguchi Yozo and Hagiwara Hideo, the museum also hosts special exhibitions.
